Fire Services in Deltona

 The media has reported several issues lately concerning Fire Services and EVAC Ambulance transport. The effect of any changes to the current systems and role Deltona will play is very serious and one that we must stay on top of daily. Our involvement will be crucial in the final plan.

We are the largest city in our county and should be at the table of all meetings when they are scheduled. Currently our department is carefully monitoring all the information being discussed and offering data to the consultants to assure Deltona‘s voice is heard on these matters..

In discussions with members of our Fire Department these issues, like many other issues that face city/county governments, are very complex and rightfully deserve close scrutiny. Protection of Deltona residents properties, homes, health and safety is our number one priority and responsibility.

The issues talked about recently and some of the proposals to save taxpayers dollars are to be considered, but, like most complex issues, the devil is in the details. Please join me and become an informed voter. Study the information, ask questions and demand answers to those questions.
